Grizzly 399, a famous bear in Grand Teton National Park, recently passed away due to a car accident. Her last cub, named Spirit, has a high chance of survival despite the loss of its mother. Biologists believe Spirit will instinctively find a suitable den as he approaches the age of separation from his mother, which typically occurs around 2 years old. Spirit's survival is being closely monitored, and there is cautious optimism about his chances of thriving in the wild.
